In the summer of 1795 a teenager named Daniel McGinnis (sixteen years old) saw strange lights offshore from his parent's house which was nearby the town Chester on Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. He went out to search for the source of the lights by rowboat to a nearby isolated island (which is Oak Island). The forest wilderness was and ideal place for ships to restock and repair while its isolation is a great place to hide treasure. On the island, he discovered a circular depression about 13 feet in diameter with a big oak tree limb hanging over the depression and a tackle box hanging on that tree. How could this be?
